On my own, I can do nothing. I’m not a dynamo, go-getter, type A personality. I learned decades ago that if I wanted to achieve any of my dreams in this life they would have to start from a firm foundation of support. The more I grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually, the more I need strong support. I always imagined it would be less! Maybe it has to do with the recognition of how much support I need every day that is the thing that grows as I do. I used to feel ashamed of my need for support. I saw it as a weakness.
But as with all of Mother’s teachings, She helped me to see that it was one of my greatest strengths. My need for strong, nurturing support has brought into my orbit some amazing individuals and groups of individuals. My need for support keeps me reaching out with humility and humor, my 2 favorite H words. And best of all I’m getting better at offering support to others, often times without expecting any in return. Giving and receiving healthy support is a skill I’ve had to develop because it didn’t come naturally. Listening to this video reminds me that there’s no end to the support that’s available to me if I’m willing to make the effort, take the action and be at peace with the possibility of rejection. Just because I’m ready and willing to give and receive support, doesn’t mean the other person is.
What I do know is that because I’ve been willing to create, and to the best of my ability, maintain a vibrant circle of support for my life, of which Mother is at the center, my life is so much better in every way. I hope this video inspires you to expand your circle of support. You also may want to love up on those in your circle now so they know how important they are to you and the place they hold in your heart.
Thank you so much for watching. Please leave a comment below and tell me who’s in your circle of support.
Love,
Danielle
